Pumpkin Apple Bread (soooooooo good)

I went to the farmers market this weekend and got a ton of apples and I have so many canned pumpkin that I wanted to do a little comfort food for the day.  Plus it makes your house smell like fall.
This recipe is easy, it makes two loaves.  I gave a loaf to my neighbor.  They don't mind me giving them food, share, have fun and love one another.  Peace and enjoy.

Ingredients

3 Cups Flour
3/4 Tsp Salt
2 Tsp Baking Soda
11/2 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Tsp Nutmeg
1/4 Tsp Cloves
2 1/2 Cups Sugar
1 Can Pumpkin
3/4 Cup Veggie Oil
4 Large Eggs
3 Apples (Skinned and diced)

Topping Ingredients

1 TBL Flour
4 TBL Sugar
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 TBL Butter (Melted)

Mixing The Ingredients
  • First thing we do is preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Grab a cutting board and start to peel and dice your apples
  • Grab your mixing bowl and place your oil, canned pumpkin and sugar in it

  • Start to whisk this together on medium speed
  • Add your eggs one at a time
  • Allow this to whip for a few minutes to incorporate the eggs
  • While this mixes
  • Get a medium bowl and mix all your dry ingredients together

  • Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients

  • Allow this to mix on medium speed for 2 minutes
  • Make sure you scrape the sides to insure all the flour is mixed well
  • Now add your apples
  • Mix this on low speed for 1 minute
  • Grab a small bowl and mix your dry ingredients together

  • Grab two bread pans and split the wet mixture in half
  • Put Butter in pans to keep it from sticking

  • Take your topping and place half of the ingredients on both loafs

  • Bake this wonderful mixture of magic for 40-45 minutes
  • When finished take out of oven and allow it to cool
Dig in and enjoy a slice with coffee or tea.  Have a wonderful time making this great bread.  It's simple and makes your house smell fantastic.  Enjoy.
