Baked Delicata Squash (Gluten Free)

When we lived in Oregon I used to grow delicata squash for the restaurant and at our home.  I love this squash, its light, buttery and full of delicious flavor.  I am giving you this simple recipe that you can use with any squash.  I just like to introduce new things to those of you that are from Ohio.

Enjoy.

Ingredients

1 Delicata Squash
1/2 Cup Butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmasen Cheese


  • First thing we do is take the ends off and take the skin off
  • Gut it by taken all the seeds out
  • Turn your oven on to 415 degrees
  • Now we cut the squash
  • Place squash on baking sheet 
  • Add your salt and pepper
  • Now add your cheese
  • Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and squash is done
  • Plate it and eat it with anything you want.  
  • This is also good as an alternative to eating fries
  • Enjoy everyone, this is a simple dish that takes no time at all to make.
