Ingredients
1 Cup Water
1 Cup Milk
1 Packet of Yeast
2 TBL Honey
21/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
2 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 Cup Rolled Oats
4 TBL Butter
1 TBL Salt
Making The Bread
- First heat up your water and milk to 110 degrees
- Add your yeast and allow it to do its magic for 10 minutes
- Grab another bowl and add your flour, salt and oats together
- Mix this well
- Melt your butter and add your honey to the yeast mixture
- Mix well
- Start adding your flour mixture slowly
- Scrape sides and start mixing the rest of the flour
- Start to beat it all the air bubbles out and roll it around for about 5 minutes
- Roll it into a ball
- Place in a bowl and add oil to it
- Place the bread in a warm area and let it rise for an hour
- When it has risen preheat your oven to 400 degrees
- Now take your dough and punch it in the middle
- Place the dough on a floured surface and cut it in half and start to flatten it
- Roll the dough like you would your cinnamon rolls and place in your oiled bread pans
- Let this rise for another 20 minutes
