Ingredients
8 Potatoes (washed and trimmed)
6 Cloves Garlic
1 Yellow Onion
1 Cup Heavy Cream
3 Cups Chicken Stock
1/2 LB Apple Wood Smoked Bacon
Salt and Pepper To Taste
1 Tbl Granulated Garlic
2 Stalks Celery
3 Carrots
1/2 Cup White Cheddar Cheese
Putting The Soup Together
- Grab a large stock pot and turn it on to medium high heat
- Dice up your bacon
- Add it to your stock pot and cook until golden brown
- While this cooks lets dice up your vegetables
- Peel your potatoes and dice them up
- When the bacon is done, put it in a bowl
- Add your vegetables to the bacon fat
- Cook them together for 5 minutes
- Add your potatoes and let them cook together for 3 minutes
- Add your seasonings to the potato and vegetable mix
- Once this has cooked together add you chicken stock and heavy cream
- Let this cook together for about 35 minutes
