Ingredients
1/2 Cup Cooked Quinoa
1/4 Cup Flax Seed
1/4 Cup Sliced Almonds
1/4 Cup Wheat Germ
1/4 Cup Dates (diced up)
1/4 Cup Craisins
1 Tsp Sea Salt
Mixing Ingredients
- First thing we do is cook the Quinoa
- Take the 1/2 cup and add 1 cup of water and turn the heat on medium
- Allow this to cook for 15 minutes
- Take off the Heat and allow this to cool down
- Take your flax seed and blend it until it becomes a powder, put in a mixing bowl
- Take your almonds and blend it until it becomes a powder, put in a mixing bowl
- Now chop up your dates into small pieces and add to mixing bowl
- Add the rest of your ingredients
- Mix with your hands or use a spoon
- Place ingredients in a 9x9 pan and freeze for over night
These are great for before you go biking, hiking, walking and our running. There packed full of fiber, vitamins and just sweet enough. I hope you enjoy. There Gluten Free.
