Ingredients
2 1/2 Cups Almond Flour
3 TSP Baking Powder
3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 TSP Cinnamon
1 TSP Nutmeg
1/2 TSP Kosher Salt
4 TBL Canola Oil
2 TBL Orange Juice
1TSP Vanilla Extract
6-8 Apples
6 TBL Granulated Sugar
2 TSP Cinnamon
- First grab a large bowl
- Add all your first ingredients and mix well
- Add your wet ingredients and mix with a spoon
- Turn your oven on to 350
- Grab a cutting board and another large bowl
- Wash your apples
- Start to cut them with skin still on
- Put all apple slices in large bowl
- Add your sugar and cinnamon
- Mix well
- Now take your dry/wet ingredients (Leave 1 1/2 cups aside) and layer the bottom of your pan
- Start adding your apples to the first layer (leave some apples for the second layer)
- Add the second layer of dry/wet ingredients and gentle press down
- Add the rest of your apples
- Bake in the oven for 45 minutes
- While this is baking it's time to make the caramel sauce
Caramel Sauce Ingredients
4 TBL Butter
1/2 TSP Salt
1/2 Cup Milk
1 Cup Brown Sugar (Packed Well)
1 TSP Vanilla
Mixing The Ingredients
- Grab a small sauce pan
- Add all your ingredients
- Turn on burner to medium
- Stir constantly (So that it doesn't burn)
- Allow it to cook on low heat for 5 minutes
- Turn Heat off and set aside
- Take your apple bars out of the oven
- Allow them to cool
- Add your caramel sauce (hell as much as you want)
- Your beautiful finished product looks like this
If you have left over caramel sauce use it in your coffee or anything else you want. It keeps well in the fridge for a month. Enjoy everyone. Have a wonderful day
