SKYLINE CHILI DIP (Gotta Love That Cincinnati Tradition)

When I moved to Portland, Oregon.  I craved Skyline soooooooooooo much, that when I flew home for the holidays I would have Skyline every night for a week.  My stomach didn't agree with it, but my taste buds loved me.

Anyways here is another classic Cincinnati tradition for any fun event.

Enjoy my friends on the West Coast, everyone in the Cincinnati, Kentucky area already know how to make this.

Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/4 c. diced onion
1 (13 oz.) box Skyline original chili
8 oz. shredded mild Cheddar cheese

Putting This Magic Together

  • Spread cream cheese evenly on bottom of 8 x 8 inch microwaveable casserole dish. Sprinkle on diced onions. Pour heated Skyline chili over onions and cream cheese. Cover with shredded Cheddar cheese.
  • Conventional oven: Heat at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Microwave oven: Heat on High for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted. Allow to stand for 5 minutes before serving. Serve with nacho chips or corn chips.
